The knife has a 10cm blade with a rounded end and a learning ring to help position fingers correctly and prevent the hand from slipping. The peeler also has a training ring. There are finger guards to protect the fingers holding the food while being cut.
The blade is made of stainless steel blade with added chromium which increases its resistance to corrosion. Stainless steel does not require any special maintenance.
The handle is made of beech which is the most commonly used wood for the manufacture of Opinel handles. From France, this beech is hard, durable and easy to work with and has a smooth appearance.
